My career began at The University of the West Indies, where I managed operations and communications for commercial and academic projects for nearly 15 years. I worked my way up from administrative support to acting business development officer, where I led multi-stakeholder initiatives, negotiated contracts, and helped secure the successful implementation of major projects. My time there sharpened my skills in strategic planning, financial tracking, stakeholder engagement – and, perhaps most importantly, writing clear, compelling communication for diverse audiences.
In 2016, I expanded my professional toolkit by stepping into the world of freelance copywriting. Since then, I’ve written conversion-focused sales pages, email sequences, websites, blogs, and brand messaging for coaches, consultants, and service providers worldwide. If it needs to engage, inform, or convert – I can write it.
Today, I combine my skills in business, communication, and marketing to support individuals and organizations looking for more effective, thoughtful ways to reach their audience, streamline their operations, and grow sustainably.

I’m from a fishing village in the island of Jamaica. Of course, in this global landscape, that hasn’t stopped me from working with clients on six continents. And you will not believe how many persons used to ask me if I speak English when I first started writing content. It’s my first language.
My brothers know they will have to wait a bit at the finish line for me whenever we sign up for a 5K or 10k run/walk event. I’ll be there … just a matter of when. It’s one of our favorite activities to do together alongside hiking and hanging out. Ms. Jenny’s 4 kids.
Want me to talk your ear off about the link between Jamaican, Latin America and Boston, USA and the banana trade? That’s my MPhil history thesis (aborted) but I still can’t tell a Gros Michel from a Cavendish banana even though one of my uncles (a farmer) tried his best.
I enjoy traveling to new places. I’ve been to several countries across the Caribbean, Europe, and North America. Like getting lost in the back alleys of Venice trying to avoid the flooded piers along the Grand Canal, “swimming” with the fishes (not that kind) in my life jacket off the coast of Ibiza, stepping off the edge at The Dare Skywalk at the Tottenham Stadium.
